If you have not met 7 Brew yet, picture a coffee shop built entirely around your car: no dining room, no counter line — just fast double-lane drive-thru “stands” with a crew that takes your order at your window. The brand started in Rogers, Arkansas and has exploded across the South and Midwest, with hundreds of stands in more than a dozen states, including a fast-growing Alabama footprint that already stretches from Huntsville to Auburn.
The menu is the fun part: specialty coffees, energy drinks, teas, smoothies, shakes and lemonades, backed by dozens of flavored syrups — sugar-free options included — that add up to thousands of possible combinations. Where will 7 Brew be in Northport?
The stand is planned for 5600 McFarland Boulevard, tucked between Checker’s and Marc-1 Car Wash — prime position on one of the busiest commercial corridors in the city. A Northport 7 Brew has been in the works for a while: the idea was first floated publicly back in 2023, when a different site on Lurleen Wallace was announced. Plans have since shifted, and new reports in late July 2026 confirm the project is moving forward at the McFarland location — welcome news for residents who have been asking for a 7 Brew for years.
It is also a first: Northport has plenty of good coffee, but this will be its first dedicated drive-thru coffee stand — the grab-it-on-the-way-to-work format that has been winning across Alabama.
